+The firefrost-operations-manual repository has grown to ~1.1GB due to large binary files in git history. Working files are only ~90MB. File organization also needs consolidation.
+
+## Issues
+
+- .git history bloat (1.1GB) from MP4s, PNGs committed historically
+- Consultations in 3 places (needs consolidation to `docs/consultations/`)
+- Dual task system (`docs/tasks-index/` vs `docs/tasks/`) undocumented
+
+## Recommended Approach
+
+Option A (Live with it) for git history — only impacts clone time, not daily work.
+File organization cleanup can happen incrementally.
+
