Task #55: Discord Permanent Invite Link Setup

Create a permanent Discord invite link for use on the Ghost website and all public-facing materials.

Steps:

Open Discord server settings
Go to Invites → Create Invite
Set "Expire After" to Never
Set "Max Uses" to No Limit
Copy permanent invite URL
Update Ghost homepage CTA button (currently points to /subscribe)
Update any other locations referencing Discord
Document the permanent link in infrastructure manifest

Deliverables:

Permanent Discord invite link (discord.gg/[code])
Ghost homepage updated with Discord button
Link documented in ops manual

Dependencies: Discord server must be set up and configured

Next Steps After Completion:

Update Ghost homepage /subscribe button to Discord link
Change button text back to "Join Discord Now"
Change button gradient back to Discord blue (#5865F2)

This issue is being closed as part of the task system migration on April 1, 2026.

Why: The Gitea Issues + Kanban approach proved too heavyweight for daily operations and lacked accessibility for non-technical team members (Meg, Holly).

New System:

BLOCKERS.md - Critical soft launch tasks
BACKLOG.md - Future work organized by theme
Trinity Console v2 Task Module (planned) - Web-based task management
