✅ MAILCOW DIAGNOSTICS & TROUBLESHOOTING

Issue: "New mail not showing in webmail"

Root Cause Discovered: Port 25 blocked inbound by Breezehost

Diagnosis Process:

  1. Restarted SOGo (webmail) ✅
  2. Restarted Dovecot (IMAP) ✅
  3. Restarted Redis cache ✅
  4. Checked all services: ALL HEALTHY ✅
  5. Checked mail queue: EMPTY (no stuck mail) ✅
  6. Checked for errors: NONE ✅
  7. Tested internal mail: WORKS PERFECTLY ✅
  8. Checked external mail: NOT ARRIVING ❌
  9. Analyzed Postfix logs: ZERO external connections ❌

Findings:

  • ✅ MX record correct: 10 mail.firefrostgaming.com.
  • ✅ A record correct: mail.firefrostgaming.com → 38.68.14.188
  • ✅ Port 25 listening on server
  • ✅ No local firewall (UFW not installed)
  • ✅ Mailcow configuration perfect
  • ✅ Internal delivery working (michael@firefrostgaming.com → michael@firefrostgaming.com)
  • ❌ External mail servers cannot connect (Gmail, Outlook, etc.)
  • ❌ Only internal Docker traffic visible in logs

Conclusion: Breezehost is blocking inbound port 25 at network level (standard anti-spam measure)

Solution Required: Contact Breezehost (Jon) to unblock port 25 inbound for 38.68.14.188

Status: Waiting on provider intervention

Important: Mailcow is 100% correctly configured. Once port unblocked, external mail will flow immediately with no changes needed.
