4f9a5a553b feat: Phase 2 - Real upload capabilities for ChromaDB and Weaviate
Implemented complete upload functionality for vector databases, replacing
stub implementations with real upload capabilities including embedding
generation, multiple connection modes, and comprehensive error handling.

## ChromaDB Upload (chroma.py)
- Multiple connection modes (PersistentClient, HttpClient)
-  3 embedding strategies (OpenAI, sentence-transformers, default)
- Batch processing (100 docs per batch)
- Progress tracking for large uploads
- Collection management (create if not exists)

## Weaviate Upload (weaviate.py)
-  Local and cloud connections
-  Schema management (auto-create)
- Batch upload with progress tracking
-  OpenAI embedding support

## Upload Command (upload_skill.py)
- Added 8 new CLI arguments for vector DBs
-  Platform-specific kwargs handling
- Enhanced output formatting (collection/class names)
- Backward compatibility (LLM platforms unchanged)

## Dependencies (pyproject.toml)
- Added 4 optional dependency groups:
  - chroma = ["chromadb>=0.4.0"]
  - weaviate = ["weaviate-client>=3.25.0"]
  - sentence-transformers = ["sentence-transformers>=2.2.0"]
  - rag-upload = [all vector DB deps]

## Testing (test_upload_integration.py)
- 15 new tests across 4 test classes
- Works without optional dependencies installed
- Error handling tests (missing files, invalid JSON)
-  Fixed 2 existing tests (chroma/weaviate adaptors)
-  37/37 tests passing

## User-Facing Examples

Local ChromaDB:
  skill-seekers upload output/react-chroma.json --target chroma \
    --persist-directory ./chroma_db

Weaviate Cloud:
  skill-seekers upload output/react-weaviate.json --target weaviate \
    --use-cloud --cluster-url https://xxx.weaviate.network

With OpenAI embeddings:
  skill-seekers upload output/react-chroma.json --target chroma \
    --embedding-function openai --openai-api-key $OPENAI_API_KEY

## Files Changed
- src/skill_seekers/cli/adaptors/chroma.py (250 lines)
- src/skill_seekers/cli/adaptors/weaviate.py (200 lines)

ec3e0bf491 fix: Resolve 61 critical linting errors
Fixed priority linting errors to improve code quality:

Critical Fixes:
- F821 (2 errors): Fixed undefined name 'original_result' in config_enhancer.py
- UP035 (2 errors): Removed deprecated typing.Dict and typing.Type imports
- F401 (27 errors): Removed unused imports and added noqa for availability checks
- E722 (19 errors): Replaced bare 'except:' with 'except Exception:'

Code Quality Improvements:
- SIM201 (4 errors): Simplified 'not x == y' to 'x != y'
- SIM118 (2 errors): Removed unnecessary .keys() in dict iterations
- E741 (4 errors): Renamed ambiguous variable 'l' to 'line'
- I001 (1 error): Sorted imports in test_bootstrap_skill.py

All modified areas tested and passing:
- test_scraper_features.py: 42 passed
- test_integration.py: 51 passed
- test_architecture_scenarios.py: 11 passed
- test_real_world_fastmcp.py: 19 passed (1 skipped)

Remaining linting errors: 249 (mostly code style suggestions like ARG002, F841, SIM102)

d0bc042a43 feat(multi-llm): Phase 1 - Foundation adaptor architecture
Implement base adaptor pattern for multi-LLM support (Issue #179)

**Architecture:**
- Created adaptors/ package with base SkillAdaptor class
- Implemented factory pattern with get_adaptor() registry
- Refactored Claude-specific code into ClaudeAdaptor

**Changes:**
- New: src/skill_seekers/cli/adaptors/base.py (SkillAdaptor + SkillMetadata)
- New: src/skill_seekers/cli/adaptors/__init__.py (registry + factory)
- New: src/skill_seekers/cli/adaptors/claude.py (refactored upload + enhance logic)
- Modified: package_skill.py (added --target flag, uses adaptor.package())
- Modified: upload_skill.py (added --target flag, uses adaptor.upload())
- Modified: enhance_skill.py (added --target flag, uses adaptor.enhance())

**Tests:**
- New: tests/test_adaptors/test_base.py (10 tests passing)
- All existing tests still pass (backward compatible)

**Backward Compatibility:**
- Default --target=claude maintains existing behavior
- All CLI tools work exactly as before without --target flag
- No breaking changes

**Next:** Phase 2 - Implement Gemini, OpenAI, Markdown adaptors

4cbd0a0a3c fix: Add anthropic-beta header and correct field name for skill uploads
Fixes #182

Changes:
- Add 'anthropic-beta: skills-2025-10-02' header (required by Anthropic Skills API)
- Change multipart field name from 'skill' to 'files[]' (correct API format)

Without these fixes, all upload attempts returned 404 errors.

Verified:
- All 379 tests passing (100%)
- No regressions in test suite
- Upload functionality corrected per API requirements

ce1c07b437 feat: Add modern Python packaging - Phase 1 (Foundation)
Implements issue #168 - Modern Python packaging with uv support

This is Phase 1 of the modernization effort, establishing the core
package structure and build system.

## Major Changes

### 1. Migrated to src/ Layout
- Moved cli/ → src/skill_seekers/cli/
- Moved skill_seeker_mcp/ → src/skill_seekers/mcp/
- Created root package: src/skill_seekers/__init__.py
- Updated all imports: cli. → skill_seekers.cli.
- Updated all imports: skill_seeker_mcp. → skill_seekers.mcp.

### 2. Created pyproject.toml
- Modern Python packaging configuration
- All dependencies properly declared
- 8 CLI entry points configured:
  * skill-seekers (unified CLI)
  * skill-seekers-scrape
  * skill-seekers-github
  * skill-seekers-pdf
  * skill-seekers-unified
  * skill-seekers-enhance
  * skill-seekers-package
  * skill-seekers-upload
  * skill-seekers-estimate
- uv tool support enabled
- Build system: setuptools with wheel

### 3. Created Unified CLI (main.py)
- Git-style subcommands (skill-seekers scrape, etc.)
- Delegates to existing tool main() functions
- Full help system at top-level and subcommand level
- Backwards compatible with individual commands

### 4. Updated Package Versions
- cli/__init__.py: 1.3.0 → 2.0.0
- mcp/__init__.py: 1.2.0 → 2.0.0
- Root package: 2.0.0

### 5. Updated Test Suite
- Fixed test_package_structure.py for new layout
- All 28 package structure tests passing
- Updated all test imports for new structure

## Installation Methods (Working)

```bash
# Development install
pip install -e .
# Run unified CLI
skill-seekers --version  # → 2.0.0
skill-seekers --help
# Run individual tools
skill-seekers-scrape --help
skill-seekers-github --help
```

## Test Results
- Package structure tests: 28/28 passing
- Package installs successfully
- All entry points working

## Still TODO (Phase 2)
- [ ] Run full test suite (299 tests)
- [ ] Update documentation (README, CLAUDE.md, etc.)
- [ ] Test with uv tool run/install
- [ ] Build and publish to PyPI
- [ ] Create PR and merge

## Breaking Changes
None - fully backwards compatible. Old import paths still work.

## Migration for Users
No action needed. Package works with both pip and uv.

Closes #168 (when complete)
